Obituary For Hyon Suk Hartman

Hyon Suk Hartman, 52, Rapid City died Thursday March 27, 2008 at her residence. Hyon was born May 8, 1955 in Pusan, Korea to Yong Jae Kim and Nan Yi Cho. She graduated from Pusan High School; attended Younchan Beauty Academy; the Korean Traditional Art School and performed with the Korean Traditional Jango Dance Troupe. Hyon became a US Citizen in 1983. She married Gene Wittkowske on Sept. 22, 1997 in Guam, C.N.M.I. Hyon was a member of the Academy Youn Chan, Korean Baptist Church and the Korean Traditional Dance School. She is survived by her husband Gene Wittkowske, Rapid City; daughter Joel Han, Rapid City; 3 sisters, Pastor Dal Sook Kim, Seoul, South Korea; Eunhae Oh and Jieun Oh, both of Bosan, South Korea. She was preceded in death by her parents.
