Obituary For James NyBlom
James NyBlom, 84, Rapid City, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Rapid City Regional Hospice House. He was born October 16, 1932 in Omaha, NE. He joined the US Air Force at the age of 19 and spent the next 20 years of service at several bases to include England, Guam, Goosebay Labador, Grand Forks, Malmstrom and Vietnam, where he was a mechanic on the flight line. He retired in 1971, moved to Rapid City in 1973 and retired from Beka Ditching in 2006. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, building model planes, puzzles and working on cars. He met and married Rosalie Hulme in Shrewsburg, England on October 16, 1956. James is survived by three children, Debra (Terry) Hendrikson, Rapid City; James NyBlom, Jr (Lana), Canistota; Kimberly (Troy) Love, Boerne, TX; grandchildren, Amanda Sample, Ashley Hendricks, Andrew NyBlom, Amber MyBlom, Tru Love; great grandchildren, Cayden, Connor, Adam and Elliott and his brother Don NyBlom, Minden, NV. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosalie, daughter Tammy, his parents Eric and Helen, one brother, Bob and a sister, Betty White.
