Obituary For Janet L. Scott

Janet Louise (Hopkins) Scott, 62, Rapid City, passed away on Wednesday Sept. 13, 2006 at her home with her husband by her side. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Richard Scott, Rapid City; one daughter Kelly and husband John Heintz, Rapid City; one son, Jeff and wife Cyndi Scott, Chamberlain; 5 grandchildren, Kyrie, Derek, and Evan Heintz; Layne Morisch and Jenna Scott; her mother Alice Hopkins, Gillette, WY; two brothers, Larry and wife Mary Hopkins, Gillette, WY; Clinton Hopkins, Casper, WY; one sister, Deborah and husband Owen Knox, Casper, WY and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hopkins, and one brother Ronald Hopkins. Janet was an active member of the TREA Auxiliary where she held the office of National Secretary in 2001-2003. She was a VFW life member and active in VFW Cooties and the Red Hat Society.
