Obituary For Jeffrey Harry Aigner

Jeffrey Harry Aigner died on May 29, 2026, in Rapid City South Dakota. He was born in Rapid City on August 14, 1961, Carmen and Harry Aigner, Jr.

Jeff attended schools in Piedmont and Newell, South Dakota. He enjoyed Boy Scouts, basketball, and softball.

In the early 80s he started working for a water well drilling company in South Dakota. Later, he worked for other drilling companies in North Dakota and Wyoming. Next he worked for a landscaping company and then became a delivery driver for an auto salvage company in Rapid City. When his mother became very ill after a stroke, he was her constant caregiver.

Jeff was proceeded in death by his father, Harry Aigner, Jr., his mother, Carmen Aigner, and his oldest sister, Deborah.

He is survived by his sisters, Linda Lovelett, Sandy Fields, Pamela Aigner, Micaela Aigner-Jacobs, and Lisa Aigner, and his brothers Michael Aigner and Todd Aigner, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat, Nala.

A burial service will be held at the Piedmont, South Dakota, cemetery on June 19 at 11 o'clock in the morning. This will be followed by a memorial service at the park in Piedmont.

A memorial fund has been established with "A Place for Meow Rescue" in Rapid City.
