Obituary For Jody Hamilton Hankins
Jody (Hamilton) Hankins, 42, Rapid City died Thursday June 14, 2007 at Fountain Springs Health Care Center following an extended illness.She was born March 10, 1965 in Madison, WI to David and June (Miller) Hamilton. She moved with her family to Rapid City in 1969 where she attended school. In 1981, she moved to Denver, CO where she graduated from high school and attended beauty school.She lived in Louisiana and Wisconsin returning to Rapid City in her early twenties.She married Dan Hankins in Rapid City and they had a daughter, Charlotte.She is survived by daughter, Charlotte and Charlotte’s father Dan Hankins, Rapid City; father and step-mother, David and Carolyn Hamilton, Bayfield, CO; mother, June Hamilton; brother Schuyler and his son, Gaige Hamilton, her sister Holly and her daughter, Maliyah Hamilton all of Rapid City; aunts, uncles, cousins from Wisconsin, Georgia, Louisiana, Nebraska and Kansas and step grandparents, Hank and Bernice Buis, Lincoln, NE.She was preceded in death by grandparents, Cecil and Barbara Hamilton, Jack and Genevieve Miller and cousin Clayton John Olson all of Wisconsin.
