Joseph Andrew Dotte, 93, Rapid City, died Friday November 4, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born February 23, 1923 in White Bear Lake, MN to Joseph J. and Teresa (Switzer) Dotte. Joseph served in the U.S. Army from March 17, 1943 and was honorably discharged February 14, 1946. He married Doris King on January 31, 1948. Joseph and Doris lived in White Bear Lake until 1999 when they moved to Rapid City. While in White Bear Lake, they owned and operated Dotte Texaco. Joseph had many hobbies and some of his favorites were reading, gardening, and hunting. He is survived by his wife Doris; daughter Cindy Hausman; grandson, Justin Smith (Debbie) San Antonio, TX; 8 minor grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers Larry Dotte (Audrey) MN and Jim Dotte, MN and his sister Marie Straka MN. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Dotte Sr and son-in-law Vince Hausman.
