Joseph Anthony Mayo

Made his journey to the spirit world on 3-29-2026 in Rapid City, SD.

Joe was born in Laramie, Wyoming to Joseph and Cleota Mayo on 2-1-1962, he was married to Candy Corbine in 1981.

Joe is survived by Candy(Corbine) Mayo, wife of 46 years; Kids: Brian, Denise, Briana, Brian Jr., Makiah Mayo, Noah Walks; sister Crystal Mayo; family members: Kayla, Ben, Josh, Darleen, Cindy, Donald Mayo, Cookie Zsiray, Beverly Corbine(Mother In-Law), Jack, April(Corbine), Jim, Penny Rogers, numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, cousins, friends and dogs Caine and Rocky.

Joe is preceded in death by his son, Phillip Mayo, grandparents, parents, a brother, two sisters, four nephews, two grandchildren, several aunts, two uncles, father In-Law, sister in-law and several friends.

Services will be held at the Chimney Shelter at Canyon Lake Park in Rapid City on April 11, 2026 from 12pm to 4pm with traditional Lakota Services By Ricky Good Voice Flute.
