Obituary For Keith Whyte
Keith Alan White, 47, Hill City, died of natural causes, peacefully in his sleep on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. He was born September 12, 1963, to Stan and Merilyn (Andress) Whyte in Rapid City.Keith attended schools in Rapid City, graduating from Hill City High School in 1981.Following graduation Keith went to work for Pete Lein as a heavy equipment operator. He also worked for several years with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Department as a reserve deputy sheriff. Keith married Diane Marie June 27, 2010. Keith loved hunting, fishing and the entire outdoors and spent many an hour hiking and driving through the Black Hills. He described himself as a Cow Billy Mountain Man.He was a man with a generous spirit and will be missed. He is survived by his wife Diane Whyte; father and stepmother, Stan and Marcy Whyte; mother Merilyn in California; three brothers, Steve (Cathy) Andress, Phoenix, Ariz.,Randy Whyte, Sheridan, Wyo., Scott (Amarie) Whyte, Cheraw, S.C. and many more extended family members.
