Obituary For Kenneth Berglund

Kenneth ‘Ken’ Berglund, 87, Rapid City. Died Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at home. He was born April 27, 1926, at Flandreau, SD to Arthur and Georgia Berglund. He married Patricia Kellen on September 10, 1949, in Sioux Falls. Ken and Pat moved to Rapid City in 1961, where Ken was in business for many years.Ken loved the Lord and spent hours praying and studying Scripture every day. He will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. Survivors include his children, Jeff and his wife, Karou Berglund, Kyoto, Japan, and their children Ken (Junko) Berglund, Ryunosuke Berglund and Arthur (Ayako) Berglund; Jay and his wife, Ardelle Berglund, Gettysburg, SD, and their children, Tamara Berglund, Kendra Want, Clarissa Berglund, Mallea Berglund, Brianna Berglund, Serena Berglund and Jenna Berglund; Lisa and her husband David Schneider, Belle Fourche, and their children Cody (Nicole) Kellem, Harlan (Kunie) Kellem, Sara Schneider, and Tim (Danielle) Schneider; one brother, Howard (Edythe) Berglund, Lindsborg, KS; 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.He was preceded in death by his wife Pat and his sister Beth.
