Obituary For Kenneth E. Singpiel
Kenneth “Kenny” Singpiel passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the age of 84. He is survived by Joann, his wife of 47 years, his sons Scot Singpiel, Salt Lake City, John Lane, grandsons JJ and Brett Lane, and great-granddaughter Gemma Lane, all from Parker, Colorado. Kenny owned and operated Singpiel Polled Herefords and was a long-time member of the agricultural community south of Rapid City on Lower Spring Creek. He received the Pennington Conservation District Award for the ranch in 1979 and also served as a supervisor for the organization during the 80s and 90s. He lived a full life doing what he loved. Even though he sold the main ranch a few years ago, he continued raising cattle as a hobby. Kenny also liked woodworking and gardening.
