Obituary For Kenneth 'Ken' Bruce Dehn

Kenneth (Ken) Bruce Dehn was born September 27, 1931 in Independence, Missouri to Kenneth R.G. and Nellie Dehn. Ken was raised by his aunt and uncle, Burton and Doreen Halsted.

Ken was united in marriage to Brigitte Eitelmann in Altleiningen, Germany on October 22, 1955 while Ken was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Air Force.

As a young man, Ken enlisted in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and served for twenty years in Germany, England and finally at Ellsworth Air Force Base. After retiring from the Air Force Ken became a Texaco Bulk Oil Jobber from 1977 to 2000

Ken enjoyed collecting old cars and oil memorabilia and traveling the world with his wife.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife of 70 years Briggitte, his son Ken Jr. of Rapid City and five granddaughters and four great-granddaughters and his sister Willa Farris, Missouri.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Carolyn Campbell and his brother Donald Dehn, and several aunts and uncles.

Ken passed peacefully at home in Black Hawk, on December 23, 2025. Interment will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis SD on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 9 am.
