Obituary For Kristi Jo Leland

Kristi Jo Leland was born in Yankton, South Dakota to Ronald J. Huntley & Shirley A. Huntley on August 19th 1966. She worked construction for many years with her family and took great joy in showing up her brothers with the cleanup at every job site. In her recent years, Kristi had worked for Walmart as a grocery and bakery associate. In her words, “I made my three beautiful children from scratch.” Kristi is survived by her three loving children: Amanda Leland, Allen Leland, and Shannon Leland. She is also survived by her siblings: Cindy (Dave) Horton, John (Dawn) Huntley, Dawn (Rich) Vines, Justin (Emily) Huntley, Jason (Patricia) Huntley, Jeremiah Huntley, and Jed Huntley. She was preceded in death by her two younger siblings: Charity and Jeff Huntley. Kristi loved and fought deeply for the ones she loved most in the world.

Kristi cherished butterflies and saw them as a symbol of God’s presence. Rest in peace beautiful butterfly.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Monday June 5th 2017 at Dove Christian Center, located at 1213 Harmony Heights Lane, Rapid City, SD 57701.

Burial will be after funeral services and will be located at Mountain View Cemetery off of Sheridan Lake Road.
