Laberta Mae Schmidt, 57, Rapid City died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.She is survived by her husband, Ted of Rapid City; her son Rick of Box Elder; 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jerry Edwards, Rapid City; Richard Edwards, Clybucca, Australia; Robert Edwards, Rapid City and 3 sisters, Emma Stewart, Rapid City; Vickie Weese, Gregory and Florence Simmons, Rosemont, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
