Larry R Jones, 68, Rapid City, passed away on February 18, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born April 21, 1946 to Purl and Clara (Schafer) Jones. He grew up on the family farm south of Blaisdell, ND. Larry graduated from Palermo High School and then from the University of North Dakota. He attained his CPA designation while working for Zine & Hover CPA firm in Williston, ND. He returned to the Stanley, ND area to farm and joined Norman Mell, CPA; creating the Mell and Jones Accounting Firm. Later in life he moved to Rapid City, SD and was involved in the Ministry, helping people and was a Bible study teacher at the Believer’s Fellowship Church of Sturgis, SD. Larry is survived by his brothers, Donavan (Judy); Leonard (Eileen); his sister Judy (Larry) Curl; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
