Obituary For Laurel Hagen

Laurel Hagen, 85, Rapid City died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at Clarkson-Mt. View Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 27, 1926 in Cody, NE to Eugene and Vera (Brow) Lesher. Laurel Graduated from Nursing School in Lincoln, NE as a registered nurse and was the County Health Nurse for Fall River County for 25 years. Laurel married Theodore W. Hagen on April 4th, 1948 She was a member of the United Churches in Hot Springs and played the organ there for a number of years. She loved her flower gardens and traveling. Laurel is survived by her two sons, Ted (Janet) Hagen, White Post, VA and Gene (Beckie) Hagen, Garland, TX; 4 grandchildren, Stuart and Marc Hagen, Garland TX; Lisa Rogers, Davidson, NC and Scott Hagen, Richmond, VA and 1 great grandchild, Grace Hagen, daughter of Stuart and Jamie. She is preceded in death by her husband Theodore William Hagen, March 22, 2003.
