Obituary For Leonard R. King

Leonard Raymond King, 54, Rapid City, died Monday Sept. 25, 2006 at his residence. Leonard was born Nov. 10, 1953 in Winner, SD to William M. and Vera Lenora (Pretty Voice Hawk) King. He graduated from Winner High School in 1970 and moved to Rapid City in 1982. In 1991, Leonard graduated from National College of Business with 3 Bachelors of Science degrees in Accounting, Marketing and Business Management. Leonard worked at NAHA for many years until he became disabled. He enjoyed his work and also his coworkers. He is survived by his sister, Carmen Diane King, Rapid City; 1 nephew, Larry King, Mission, SD; 6 nieces, Deb Wells, New Town, ND; Dianne King, Mission, Liz King, Billings, MT; Heather Hartsell, Rapid City; Rachel Hartsell, Rapid City and Mary Leighton, Breckenridge, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents, William M. King and Vera Lenora Pretty Voice Hawk King; 4 brothers, Carl King, Robert King, Leroy King, Richard King and 3 sisters, Marie King, Babe King and Eleanor King.
