Obituary For Lester Louis Allen

Lester Louis Allen, 75 of Rapid City, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning. Les was born in 1940 to Jack and Eleanor Allen. Les was a very special man who meant so much to so many. Les served in the Army National Guard for 8 years and after a little moving around settled back in Rapid City. Les happily worked for Hills Materials for 28 years. To him it was so much more than a job, it was his joy. He didn’t have co-workers, he had a second family. Les was an amazing father to 4 daughters and a son; a wonderful brother to two brothers and five sisters. Most of all he was an incredibly loving Papa to 7 lucky grandchildren. Les is preceded in death by his Parents, Jack and Eleanor Allen; his sister Charlene, his son Jerry and brother Jack Leroy Allen. Survivors include his daughters; Debbie, Deanna, Shannon, and Brittney; his brother Ralph Allen; his sisters; Dianna Meeker, Laura Chrostowski, Janette Wilson, and Norma Roth; grandchildren include; Ashley Wooten, Tyler Brandner, Jaron Kirchhevel, McKinsey Kirchhevel, Amy Brandner, Donovin Thibodeau, and Jackson Thibodeau.
