Lillie RoseLyn Solles, 1, Rapid City, joined the angels and received her angel wings on Dec. 20, 2011. She was taken from us suddenly after complications as a result of a stroke. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Lillie had touched in some small way, throughout her short, yet very memorable life at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls. Lillie’s life would seem to short to many, but for those who were touched by her you received a blessing. We remind others that her life is one to be celebrated although we will miss her every day. Her gentle smile and big blue eyes could melt the hearts of those around her and though she seldom spoke a word, her voice and thoughts could always be heard. With her larger than life personality she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She could spend hours chasing her big brother, by crawling as fast as she could, playing along side of him quietly with his Matchbox cars or just cuddling close to those she loved so much. These memories will always remain forever in our hearts. Lillie is survived by her loving parents, Ray and April Solles; her big brother, Anthony Solles; Nana and Papa Mike and Michele Neisent all of Rapid City; grandparents, Kenneth Solles and Mike and Cathy Johnson all of Janesville, WI; great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and several family friends throughout several states. She will be welcomed in Heaven with open arms by great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who preceded her in death.
