Obituary For Linda Kay Johnson

Linda Kay Johnson, 71, of Custer, South Dakota, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, in Rapid City, South Dakota, after a long struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Linda was born on February 26, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, to Alice Jeanette Devers and Robert Lofty. She worked for many years as a secretary for Custer Hospital and later for Social Services in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Linda was an avid horse lover throughout her life and member to various riding clubs, both East and West River. She is survived by her son, Daniel Devers Conner (Nashville, TN), 1 grandson Richard (Ricky) Daniel Conner, 2 brothers Thomas Richard Conner (Kingman, AZ) and Charles Roger Conner (Henderson, NV), 1 sister Mary Jager (Stuttgart, Germany), 2 nephews Beau Jager (Jennyfer) (Stuttgart, GE) and Dusty Jager (Meeker, CO), 1 several great-grandchildren, and 1 great-nephew. Linda was predeceased by husband, Jerry Krug, 2 sons Lawrence Robert McDonnel and William Richard Krug, her parents, and step-father Charles (Dick) Conner
