Obituary For Linda Sue Puetz

Linda Amick Puetz, 69, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 11, 2024.

Linda was born in Sioux Falls, SD to David and Betty Amick on August 17, 1954. She attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls. She married Patrick Puetz on September 23, 1978 in Hesperia, California.

Linda earned an Associate of Arts degree from Valley College in San Bernardino, CA and worked for three years as a teacher's aide before she started working for the San Bernardino Public Library. Linda loved her job at the library and was the Head of the Graphic Design department for 27 years. She retired in 2017. Linda was a lover of books and always had a book nearby. She had a wonderful green thumb and was a talented painter and enjoyed sculpting with clay.

Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years Pat, sisters Gloria Grafton, Pam Echre, and Colleen Amick. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, David and Betty Amick.

Thank you for all of the thoughts, prayers, and love that you have shown to Linda and to her entire family.

In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Van Demark Clinic in Sioux Falls, SD in memory of Linda.

A private burial service will be held at a later date.
