Obituary For Lois Bennett

Lois Mae Bennett, 78, Rapid City, died January 24, 2017. She was born March 30, 1938 in White Salmon, Oregon to Roy and Hallene (Shum) Davis. Lois married Gordon R. Bennett on January 13, 1960. Gordon was in the US Air Force and they lived at several Air Force bases settling in Rapid City in 1972.She was involved with the Gem and Mineral Society, the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed dancing and rock hunting and collecting.Lois is survived by her 3 children, Lyle (Kristine) Bennett, Seattle, WA, Tina (Valentin) Carrillo, Mathis, TX and Lark(Bill Beach) Bennett, Rapid City; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and a brother, Orvil (Kathy) Davis, Rapid City.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gordon Bennett, a son Gary Bennett and a brother, Glen Davis. Lois was very loved and will be remembered and missed.
