Obituary For Margaret E. Fritz

Margaret E. Fritz, 86, died Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Rapid City Regional Hospice House surrounded by her family.Margaret was born November 19, 1921 in Gregory, SD to Leo and Elisebeth (Janousek) Hannan. She was raised and educated in Rapid City graduating from Cathedral High School in 1940.On March 1, 1951, she married Cy Langerman in Rapid City. They had 3 sons, Blaine, Fred and Mike.She later married Tony Fritz in 1962 and they had a daughter, Cindy.Margaret was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She had a wry sense of humor and lived life to the fullest, dispensing her knowledge and opinion whether it was requested or not. She enjoyed her family immensely and, as a true matriarch, defended them against all detractors right or wrong.She endured several years of debilitating illnesses and even though she had lost her voice in recent months, her beautiful eyes spoke for her.She is survived by 3 sons, Blaine and wife Pam Langerman, Mesa, AZ, Fred Langerman, Rapid City, Mike Langerman and wife Kristen Levander, Hermosa; a daughter, Cindy and husband Erik BoJack, Hermosa; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Esther Gill, Catherine ‘Kiki’ Birach, Aileen and husband Paul Hutton and 3 step children, Dick Fritz, Dave Fritz and Darlene Burckhard.She was preceded in death by husbands, Cy Langerman and Tony Fritz, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
