Obituary For Marjorie Rose Douglas

Marjorie Rose Douglas, born January 3, 1928, left to be with God on July 1, 2014. She had 86 years on this earth. Marjorie was born to Herman and Vera Lundberg on a farm near Troy Township in eastern South Dakota. She had 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her eight children, Gary (Wanita) Douglas, Arlington, TX; Bruce (Sylvia) Douglas, Lead; Michal Douglas, Rapid City; Lonnie Douglas, Strandburg; Daniel Douglas, Rapid City; Timothy Douglas, Rapid City; Thomas (Pamela Douglas, Rapid City and Jeannie Douglas, Sioux Falls; 26 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 3 step-granddaughters and 10 step great grandchildren; her oldest brother Avalon ‘Lonnie’ Lundberg, Strandburg, SD and two sisters, Patricia Luken, Watertown; and Ardis (Glen) Barber, Rapid City. She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Norman, Orville, Beverly and Morris Lundberg and one sister, Bonnie Barns. Marjorie’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes scattered on the farm where she grew up.
