Obituary For Marvin Antonio Thigh
Marvin A. Thigh, 48, of Rapid City, made his journey to the Spirit World on Nov. 4, 2025, at Monument Health Rapid City, SD.
Marvin A. Thigh was born in Sioux City, Iowa, to Edith V. Thigh (Tentinger) on Dec. 11, 1977. Marvin lived in Lower Brule all till he graduated 12th grade from Lower Brule. From there he did a little bit of college, then found his job in cooking. So, from moving here and there, to Aberdeen, Sioux Falls, etc.., he finally found his job in Kadoka, SD where he was a cook for seven years at Sunset Grill where he met his wife, when they got married at the Kadoka Court House on July 15, 2023. From there on, they continued to live in Kadoka for about 8 months, then moved to Rapid City to be closer to his brother, Jason Thigh.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Davene O. Pumpkin Seed (Thigh), daughter Bessie, sons Trey, Dacian, Noah, Antonia, Manny, Dace Jr., his kids, Alika, Elisabeth, Bree, Chanel. Sister Dorcas, and brother, Jason.
Marvin is preceded in death by his mother Edith V. (Thigh) Tentinger in Lower Brule, SD.
