Obituary For Mary Carmen Urban

Mary Carmen Urban, 73, Rapid City, passed away Wednesday, March 09, 2011 at Rapid City Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mary Carmen Perez was born July 15, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Ysidoro Perez and Francesca Rodriguez Perez. She attended Denver Public Schools, graduating in 1954. Mary met and married Gerald Urban. When Gerald’s family needed them to come to South Dakota, they made the move without any hesitation. They later settled down in Rapid City where they raised their five children. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and seven sisters.She is survived by her husband, Gerald Urban, Rapid City; two daughters, Theresa Doty (Robert Reever), Shalimar, FL; Andrea Wolff (John), Rapid City; three sons, Clark Urban, Rapid City; James Urban, Aurora, Co; and Aaron Urban, Rapid City. Adding to the joy of family Mary and Gerald have welcomed six grandchildren, Brandy, (Carl) Cassulo, North Las Vegas, NV; Laura Fuerst, Rapid City; Jessica Hirschman (Chris) , Fort Walton Beach, FL, Emily (Casey) Hirschman, Rapid City; Travis Wolff, Inver Grove Heights, MN; and Ian Wolff, Rapid City; three great-grandchildren, Lillian and Jacob Cassulo, North Las Vegas, NV and Tristan Jackson, Fort Walton Beach; she was anxiously awaiting the birth of her fourth great -grand child due in September. Mary is also survived by her sister, Pauline Jaramillo, Denver, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
