Obituary For Mary Luvene Larsen
Luvene died Friday Dec 13, 2013 at her daughters’, Taureta Siegalkoff, home in Grass Valley, CA. She was born May 28, 1935 in Wheeler, TX to Floyd and Margaret Mooney. The family moved to a ranch 12 miles east of Hereford on the Belle Fourche River around 1949. She was educated in rural Meade County schools and New Underwood High School. Luvene married Charles Larsen Feb 15, 1954 in Rapid City. They bought a ranch north of New Underwood in 1958 where they ranched, farmed and ran a grade A dairy for 60 years. Survivors include her husband Chuck, New Underwood; daughters, Taureta Siegalkoff, Grass Valley, CA; Charlene Larsen, Rapid City; son, Eudell Larsen, Dickenson, ND; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
