Melvin Eugene Stencil, 68, Rapid City, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Ft Meade VA Medical Center. He was born Aug 25, 1944 in Portland, OR He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1962 to 1967 when he was honorably discharged He worked in Hot Springs; Chadron, NE; Gordon NE and his last job was at the Pirates’ Table in Rapid City He is survived by his mother, Nellie Stencil, Rapid City; and three brothers, Leo, California; Stan, Oregon and Larry, Washington; his close friends Micah, Petra and Xavier Bredberg, Rapid City and many nieces and nephews.
