I met Paula one summer when she was visiting Jon! We discovered we both love to read books! However, Paula shared that her eyesight wasn't the best and love to listen to audiobooks! When I found an audiobook I knew she would enjoy, I purchased it and gave it to her as a "surprise". Her reaction was priceless! Rest in peace, my friend! Cindy Wenck Omaha, NE

Paula was an inspiration to many. The "Rock" of her family! Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her would tell you she was one of a kind. She made sure I got full everytime I visited. To this day her mashed potatoes and chicken are the best I've had. She will be dearly missed. Heaven is lucky to have her. - Posted by Steven Van Wyhe on April 3, 2024

I did not know Paula, however, I know Paula's son Jon very well and served with him in Iraq. I've heard a great deal about your family, and I know Jon feels privileged to have great parents who raised him the right way. I've always known Jon to do "the right thing" no matter the circumstances. Jon proudly carries on the traditional values instilled in him. Parents- you raised a great son who remains a trusted friend, and extraordinary citizen. - Posted by COL Jeff Kresha on April 6, 2024
