Richard E. Delgado, 49, Rapid City, died June 28, 2015 in Rapid City.He was born August 29, 1965 to John G. and Germaine (Ventura) Delgado in Brockton, MA. Richard lived in N. Easton, MA until 1981 when the family moved to Roswell, NM. In 1999, Richard and his parents moved to Rapid City to be closer to this sister and her family and to enroll in Black Hills Works. Growing up, Richard had many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed wildlife, studying the Civil War, John Wayne movies, photography and following all of the New England sports teams especially his beloved Patriots!Richard is survived by his parents, John G. and Germaine Delgado, Rapid City; his brother, John F. Delgado, Manchester, NH; his sister, Deborah (Ed-Ray) Mayes, Rapid City; his nephews, John R. Delgado, Mableton, GA. David Karsky, Rapid City, Alex Delgado, Bellingham, MA; his nieces, Amelia Karsky, Rapid City, Alyssa Delgado, Bellingham, MA; his aunts, Mary A. Delgado, North Easton, MA, Rita Bissett, Norwich, CT; his uncle, Edmond (Mary) Delgado, Bridgewater, MA and numerous cousins.The family would like to thank Lisa Batteen who was not only his service coordinator but his friend and “sparring” partner.Richard will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed.
