Obituary For Richard James Loucks
Richard James Loucks, 74, Rapid City died Monday Dec 9, 2013 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born June 28, 1939 to Joseph A and Dolores E (Starner) Loucks in Rapid City. He entered the US Navy Jan 29, 1957 and was honorably discharged Nov 20, 1964. Richard enjoyed fishing, working with leather, shaping hats, working with horses and cattle and he always ‘considered himself a cowboy’. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Gimpel, New Underwood; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his sister Sally Powell and his special friend Shirley Bender. He is preceded in death by his wife Theresa, April 19, 2000, his parents Joseph and Dolores and 3 brothers, Larry, Pete and Dave.
