Obituary For Rodger Levell Williams Sr.

Rodger L. Williams, Sr., 53, of Rapid City, SD, passed away on April 30th, 2025. He was born on May 23rd, 1971, in Gary, Indiana to Charlotte (Banks-Williams) and Levell Williams.

He went to school at Clearfield Job Corp in Clearfield, UT. He worked many jobs in his lifetime. His memorable jobs were working at the hospital, both in Gary, Indiana and Rapid City, South Dakota.

Cooking was his favorite hobby, and he loved to do it.

Rodger is survived by life partner, Margaret Sierra, his cherished children, Corvette (Sean) Bibbs, Jocelyn Williams, Jaimie (Eddie Torres) Williams, Camille Williams, Rodger Williams Jr., Jordin Douglas and a bonus daughter, Judy Sierra. Grandchildren; Jailyn, Courtney, JaSean, Kerisha, Sean, Mia, Jaela, Jazmyn, Eddie Jr., Rodger III, Savannah, Deshawn Jr., Zayah, Auriel, August.

Rodger was preceded in death by his parents Charlotte and Levell Williams. His paternal grandparents, Mildred and Vernon Williams, and his maternal grandparents, Columbus and Doris Banks.

Rodger’s family wants to thank The Monument and Select Specialty hospital out of Sioux Falls. Banks Family, Williams Family, Sierra Family, Bettelyoun Family, Parmenter Family, McGuire/Shaw Family. And anyone who has ever loved and got the chance to meet Rodger.

    To my family in South Dakota, My most deepest sympathy and tho Rodger has left us just remember all the good times that was shared the laughter and his silliness..... You will be truly missed. Speaking for myself, my nephew and I had some good times..... I will miss you deeply. My you rest in heaven ❤️ Love Ann Williams and family
