Obituary For Ronna Noelle Poole

Ronna Noelle Poole was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 23, 1969. She went home to be with her Savior on June 27th, 2025, while living with her family in Rapid City, South Dakota. She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Jan Rippel, also of Rapid City and both her sisters, Holly Hultgren of Rapid City and Raina Rippel of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her husband, Jeff Poole and both of her children Laura and Eric Poole, all of Rapid City as well.

She spent her early years living in many places as part of her father’s career in the US Air force, including Germany, England, and Hawaii. She earned her Industrial Engineering degree here at the South Dakota School of Mines where she met and married Jeff. With the help of family, they built their own home together here in Rapid City and enjoyed living in the Black Hills.

Ronna was an artist at heart and always worked to create and surround herself with beautiful things as she made her house a home. Her real passion was for sharing the gospel with children, and she spent thousands of hours volunteering for many kids’ programs, including Awana, Vacation Bible School and numerous other Christian organizations.

Ronna was a jewel among women, and although we know that she is at home with Jesus now, she will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
