Obituary For Rose Marie Traywick
Rose Marie (Cordova) Traywick, 68, Rapid City, died Monday August 27, 2013 at the Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, MN She was born in Deadwood, SD on Oct 7, 1944, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Pearl Cordova. Rose graduated from Deadwood High School in 1962 and in 1964 attended a year at National Business College in Rapid City. Rose married Al Traywick on February 6, 1971. She started her civil service career working for the Forest Service (Job Corps). After 34 years of Civil Service, Rose retired as a legal secretary in the legal office at Ellsworth Air Force Base. She retired in 2008 to become a stay-at-home wife, mother and grandmother. Rose is survived by her husband Al Traywick; her children Bill (Christine) Traywick and Alyssa (Jeremy) Campbell; 4 grandchildren, Megan, Cameron, Brooklyn and Conner and her great granddaughter Kaidence; her sisters, Helen Valades and Fran Stillman; her brother Paul Cordova. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved being a grandmother and great grandmother and was very involved in her church.
