Obituary For Royce Edwin Schreiber

Royce Schreiber, 60 passed away April 2019 in Piedmont. Royce was born in Rochester, Minnesota to Adolph and Roberta (Wolken) Schreiber on August 15, 1958. He went to school in Rapid City and graduated in 1976 from Rapid City Central High school.

Royce was a U.S Army veteran, after his discharge from the Army he attended the School of Mines and Technology, where he graduated with honor’s in the field of computer science. Royce worked in the field of computer science with various companies in the Colorado Springs area.

Royce loved the outdoors and enjoyed water skiing, snowboarding, motor crossing and riding his motorcycle in the Black Hills with family and friends. He enjoyed playing and dealing poker. Royce loved music and played in a Celtic band in Colorado Springs. He also enjoyed working on and restoring old cars.

Royce is survived by his brothers Carl of Reno, Nevada, Paul (Irina) of Peyton, Colorado and sisters Jean (Bruce) Conger of Piedmont, and Donna (Daniel) Kivi Rapid City. Numerous nieces and a nephew, great nieces and a great nephew will also mourn his passing.

Royce was preceded in death by his mother Roberta (Wolken) and father Adolph and a still born brother Jon.
