Obituary For Ruth Nelson

Ruth L Nelson, 100, Rapid City, died Friday, Dec 3, 2010 at Golden Living Center Bella Vista. She was born on July 22, 1019 in Troy, South Dakota. She was the 12th child born to Guy E and Rose A Kucker. She married John E Nelson on January 27, 1934 in Watertown, South Dakota.Survivors include four sons, Dennis(Kay), Everett(Ilah), John(Diana), all of Rapid City and Steve(Jill) of Spokane, Wash.; a daughter, Ruth(Jim) Alexander, Phoenix, AZ; 23 grand children; 35 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one brother Lloyd(Bernice) Kucker of Mitchell, SD; sister-in-law Katherine Nelson and son-in-law Noel Gajewski. Her husband, John E Nelson, preceded her in death; also one son Russell; one daughter Joanne; one daughter-in-law Helen; one great granddaughter; one great grandson; eight sisters and nine brothers; Ethel(Enock) Madsen, Clyde(Lillian) Kucker, Roy(Ruby) Kucker, Carl Kucker, Emmett Kucker, Mabel(Tony) O’Neal, Flossie(Myron) Inman, Lee Kucker, Lora(Gilbert) Kucker, Pearl(Chris) Meyers, Earl Kucker, Edith(Albert) Kowalke, Amy(Rudolph) Nelson, Calvin(Della) Kucker, Kenneth(Grace) Kucker, Muriel(Oscar) Larson.
