Obituary For Sandra Heidinger Cross

Sandra Heidinger Cross, 64, Rapid City went home to be with her loved ones in heaven Wednesday Jan. 20, 2010 at Rapid City Regional Hospice House. She was born to Louie and Bernice (Shank) Heidinger in Mitchell, SD on Oct. 16, 1945, where 1956 when they moved to Rapid City. Sandra graduated from Rapid City High School in 1963. In the 1980’s, she moved to Hot Springs to be close to her daughter and in 2006, she returned to Rapid City to be close to her son. Sandra was always active in her neighborhood and loved going to the clubhouse to visit and have coffee. She is survived by her son, Troy and wife Lisa Hastings, Rapid City and her daughter Tammy and husband Joe Bettencourt, Temple, TX; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany and Tehl Kursave; Zechariah and Johnathan Higley, Abby, Ally and Joey Bettencourt; 2 great grandchildren Rylee Daly and Brogan Higley; her brother, Wendal and wife Audrey Heidinger, Rapid City; niece Nancy and husband Harold Goetz; nephew Craig Heidinger and wife Linda and her beloved dog and constant companion Lissie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Donny Kursave.At Sandra’s request, cremation has taken place.
