Obituary For Shirley (Crane) Dugger
Shirley (Crane) Dugger, 88, Rapid City died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at Golden Livingcenter Black Hills. She was born Oct. 28, 1921 in Gettysburg, SD to Samuel and Hazel (Williams) Crane. She graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1939. In 1940 Shirley graduated from Green’s Beauty College and worked in a North Rapid Beauty Salon for many years. May 17, 1943, Shirley married Lee Dugger, in Newcastle, WY. Shirley is survived by three daughters, Patricia Dugger and husband Kevin, Rapid City; Barbara Hilmoe and husband Mark, Columbus, OH; Bonnie Forkner and husband Marv, Box Elder; three sons, Thomas Dugger and wife Deb, Rapid City; James Dugger and wife Donna, Rapid City; Steven Dugger and wife Carol, Tucson, AZ; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and two sisters, Naomi (Maurice) Meyer, St. Paul Park, MN and Alice (John) Schwan, Aberdeen, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee B. Dugger, Jan. 2, 1975; two sons, Jerry and Bob; two brothers, Frank and Dale Crane; one sister Doris Van Bockel and her special friend, Don Wharton.
