Sylvia Lynn Eagle Tail, 21, of Rapid City, SD, passed away on May 12, 2024. She was born in Rapid City, SD to Johnny Means and Tasina Eagle Tail.

Sylvia was a loving and fun Winyan who worked hard and was dedicated to loving her family. She always showed up with a smile, although quiet most of the time. Her presence brought others joy. She and her sister Ashley were inseparable and loved one another deeply. She will forever be in our hearts and memories.

Her siblings include Bobby Eagle Tail, Ashley Eagle Tail, Bonita Sky Means, Stella Eagle Tail, Errol Eagle Tail, Billy Eagle Tail, Evey Eagle Tail and Lydia Eagle Tail. Sylvia has a grandpa, Dennis Means and grandmas, Susanna Mercado and Patrice Eagle Tail.

Sylvia has cousins including Caty Means, Caldonia Cuny, Leobardo Catireno, Fernando Catireno, Susanna Cuny, Kane Cuny, Mila Cuny, Kasye Cuny. Aunties and Uncles; Jade Eagle Tail, Catherine Cuny, Cindy Mesteth, Martin Mesteth, Albert Runningbear, Marsha Friday, Tamarra Mesteth, Lola Mercado, Becky Mercardo, Cindy Mercardo, Lolita Mesteth, Arvene Comes Killing, Attum Means, Lyoana Means, Mary Ann Means, Dennis Means, Warren Means, Trevor Desarsa, and Paul Mercado.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her mother Tasina Eagle Tail and her sister Stella Luna Eagle Tail.
