Obituary For Timothy Robert Sheely

Timothy Robert Sheely, 54, Summerset, passed away Saturday, May 3, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Tim was born June 27, 1959, to Cynthia Ann Seitz and Robert Doyle Sheely in Denver, Colorado. He attended schools in Greeley, Colorado. In 1977 he graduated from Greely West High School in Greeley, Colorado. Tim married Joanne Arellano on December 27, 1982 in Casper, Wyoming. He is survived by his wife, Joanne and two daughters, Samantha, Danielle and soon-to-be son-in-law Ben Hanson. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Sheely of Summerset, two brothers, Patrick of Rapid City and Michael of Reno, Nevada, and 2 sisters, Kathleen Lucht of Rapid City and Marjorie Rutterford of Hutto, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Doyle Sheely and his younger brother Robert Daniel Sheely. He worked for the Family Thrift Store for over 20 years and currently served as the bakery manager on East St. Patrick Street. Prior to that, he worked at the family’s Gering Maid Bakery in Gering, Nebraska. He served in the National Guard in Gering, Nebraska 1980 to 1986. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, hiking, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan, Colorado Rockies fan, and NASCAR racing fan, especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr
