Obituary For Virginia Haines

Virginia (Dotson) Haines(July 20, 1930-November 26, 2008)In precious memory of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.Ginny Haines was born July 20, 1930 in Pineville, Kentucky to Thelmer and Josephine (Adkins) Dotson and passed away November 26, 2008 at Golden Livingcenter Bella Vista, Rapid City. She was 78 years old.Ginny had a passion for sewing. She sewed clothes for baby dolls’, Barbie’s and stuffed animals for her children and grandchildren. Ginny enjoyed volunteering as an office assistant with the Rapid City Police Department. She worked for the Merchant Police, Independent Optical and Bennett Clarkson Hospital.Ginny is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gene E. Haines, Box Elder. She is also survived by her loving children, David B. Totton (Jodi), Box Elder, Steve Totton, Gillette, WY, Melody Reza (Sal), Rapid City; step children, Tony Haines (Sherri), Lebanon, TN, Mark Haines (Shirley), Dean Haines both of Rapid City; cherished grandchildren, Danyell Anderson, Beth French, Justin Totton, Jennifer R. Reza, Kristina Hunter, Jennifer L. Reza, Deanna Shane, Lance and Tiffany Haines and April Jackson; enamored great grandchildren, Alissa, Josh and Jordyn French, Trevor and Madison Anderson, John, Dustin and Josephyne Larive, Dominic Sherr, Erin Jackson;and great friends too numerous to mention, but you know who you are: Ginny Loved you all.She was preceded in death by a step daughter, Cheryl (Haines) Landis.
