Vivian Viola Green passed away on March 27 at Rapid City Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was called to heaven to join her loving husband, Albert, who passed away several years ago. . Vivian was born on April 6, 1918 to Eva and Harry Frazee in Pierre, SD, and was one of 15 brothers and sisters born to this remarkable marriage. She married Albert Welcome Green on August 11, 1938, in Elk Point, SD. This union was blessed with three daughters and four sons. They lived in many places throughout their life, but most years were spent in and around the Rapid City area. Albert and Vivian built seven houses throughout their marriage in the Rapid City area, and also lived in Wisconsin, near her parents and siblings. She was preceded in death by Albert, her husband of 51 years, her parents and five brothers: Walter Frazee (Ruth in Rice Lake, WI); Larry Frazee (June in Worthington, MN), Tommy Frazee (Judy in Danbury, WI), Harry (Ida) Frazee, and Raymond Frazee. She is survived by her daughters: Janet Bryant of Rapid City, Joan (Ray) Lix of Hermosa, Brenda (Neal) Larson of Hill City, and sons Albert "Curt" (Marsha) Green of Rapid City, Jim Green of Rapid City, Jerry (Sheila) Green of Custer and John (Kathi) Green of Newell. She also left 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren who will miss her greatly. Nine siblings also mourn her death: Margaret (LaVerne) Britton of Frederick, WI; Robert (Margaret) Frazee of Danbury, WI; Jim (Genevieve) Frazee of Danbury, WI; Richard Frazee of Sargent Bluff, IA; Floyd (Kathleen) Frazee of Fredrick, WI; Amy (Bud) Wynn from North Sioux City; Mary Ann (Floyd-deceased) Reed of North Sioux City; Patty (Jim) Carey, from California; and Jean (Richard) Wynn of Kingsly, IA. Mom enjoyed flowers and gardens, painting, cooking, picnics, long walks and every bit of time that she could spend with her family. She always had that wanderlust for moving and traveling, and if she could have lived longer she probably would have moved again. She will be remembered for her love, her generous spirit, her great food, and her incredible energy.
