Obituary For Walter Ray Danley
Walter Danley, 81, Rapid City, passed away peacefully at Monument Health , Rapid City on April 26, 2024.
Walter was born to Louis and Eve Danley on January 14, 1943 in Mitchell, SD. They lived in White Lake until 1952 when they moved to Rapid City. He attended several elementary schools, South Junior High graduating from Rapid City High School in 1963. He was very active in roller skating and joined the National Guard in the 1960’s.
He married Elaine Petrik in January of 1979. He worked at Rapid City Laundry for 30 years and for a time at Black Hills Workshop.
Walter is survived by his wife, Elaine and two children.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
