Obituary For Wanda Nadine Theye

Wanda Nadine Theye, 86, Rapid City, died Wednesday, April 11, 1012 at Golden Livingcenter Black Hills. She was born July 22, 1925 at home in Hamlin County to Antone and Esther (Braaten) Johnson. She was raised in that area until her marriage to Clarence T. Jensen. They moved to Rapid City and together had children, Katherine Esther, Clarence A. and David L. Jensen.Wanda later married Roger Milton Theye and they together had a son, Roger Darren Theye.She has worked at various places in Rapid City including Gambles, Ray’s Bakery, Family Thrift Center Bakery and Hillview Nursing Home. She especially loved her home life. She was an excellent cook and a loving and caring person. Wanda prided herself as a health nut.Wanda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing bingo.She is survived by her children, Katherine E. Rilling, Rapid City, Clarence A. Jensen, Tucson, AZ, David L. Jensen, Sturgis, Roger Darren Theye, Rapid City; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Grant Johnson, Harley, Alabama, Maynard Johnson, Rapid City, James Johnson, Longmont, CO; 2 sisters, Mavis Vincent, Bryant, Violet Miles, Sioux Falls.She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Milton Theye, siblings, Alvin Johnson, Evelyn Millenbrandt, Arlene Miller, Judy Johnson and Gerald Johnson.
