Obituary For Wilbur H. Gluhm

Hot Springs, SD- Wilbur Herman Gluhm age 78, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at home after years of extended illness.Born in Highmore, SD to Herman and Alvina Gluhm on September 10, 1928, he grew up on the family farm 71/2 miles NE of Harrold, SD and attended elementary and high school in Harrold, SD.He served in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict at the base in Ft. Lewis Washington. He then returned to the family farm and continued farming in Harrold, SD. Married Lunetta A. Onken in 1954. He is survived by 4 children Johnna Smith, Danville, WV; Johnny Gluhm, White Sulphur, MT; Candie Sorensen, Sturgis, SD; Cherie Sparks, Tucson, AZ; 1 sister Ila V. Gluhm, Port Ludlow, WA. Grandchildren Ami Spangler, Lisa Smith, Joshua and Chadwick Gluhm, Jennie Faulstick, Jamie Salathe, Ashley and Russell Sorensen, Kyle Gluhm, Jessica Green and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter Cindy Naescher and 1 brother Clarence Gluhm.
