Obituary For William E. Sherburn

William “Bill” Edward Sherburn, 51, Hill City, died Friday Jan. 5, 2007. Bill is survived by two daughters, Tanisha Bristol, Virginia Beach, VA; Amber Sherburn, LaCrosse, WI; two sons, Shane Sherburn; Tyler Sherburn, both of LaCrosse, WI; five grandchildren; his mother Jewel Sherburn, his fiancé Patricia “Trish” Dolph, both of Hill City; two sisters, Jacqueline Godwin, Amarillo, TX; Janet Epperly, OKC, OK; one brother, Donal Ray Ellis, Chandler, OK and numerous other family. Bill was born Sept. 2, 1955 to Ellis and Jewel (Patterson) Sherburn in Eureka, SD. He graduated with honors from NAU; attended Western Dakota VoTech and was presently working on his masters through the University of SD. He loved his family above all else and his family loved him. We will miss his crazy sense of humor and his willingness to do anything for his family and friends. “Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sins. Wash me and I will be whiter than snow.” Psalm 51:2, 7.
